Got the washing done this morning, thanks to Helen's washing machine.........before heading off Sovereign Hill, reconstruction of An 1850's gold mine in Ballarat. Looks pretty authentic to me! We did a diggings tour, involving panning for gold, saw a gold pour where an ingot is made, went on a gold mine tour to get feel for the conditions that the miners worked in - good way to spend a few hours. May return tomorrow to see the Gold Museum.

Popped over to Malcolm's who had a few (11) in his "back garden"..........but Rae scared them off!

Going to see the sound and light show "Blood on the Southern Cross" tonight. Will tell you about it tomorrow........
