2002/02 Entry 3

These three Tasmanian entries will not include an actual travel journal as I don't have the time to go through my notes. What I think are the best pictures have been posted and a few comments here and there kind of tell the story😊

....feel free to ask questions about any part of the trip. Basically DV and myself rode from Launceston to Hobart through the centre of Tassy, then back up to Launceston via the east coast.

DAY 18 : Pitstop

Lunch for the day was butter on vegemite scroll type things...yum..

well, checkers anyway....spot the fudge bar standing up...we'd just been to the chocolate/fudge factory..mmm...fudge

What was this called again? i forget...it was quite a lame experience, but an experience nonetheless.

DAY 22 : Pennyfarthing race
We found our way to Evandale for the WORLD pennyfarthing championships....this was a pretty cool event, some of these guys take it quite seriously...

DAY 22 : Perm man
This was one of the most well looked after mullets spotted in the whole trip.

DAY 24 : What a short tree
Those tasmanians sure do look after their trees......this was taken in the sleepy town of Langford.

DAY 24 : Welcome to Perth!
It's good to be home....(this is actually perth in tasmania - not quite the same, but we didn't see any "welcome to perth" signs in WA)
