Hobart. This is a really great little city, very vibrant and full of the wonderful fish resturants. WE had a excellant meal and in the morning we tok a scenic flight south to the furthest south parts of Australia. We flew from Hobart to Melalueca, deep in the heart of the southwest. WE saw where the University of Tasmania is tracking the ground parrot , Orange bellied Parrot. Then we took a short boat trip through the waters of the Melaleuca Inlet before flying back. The mountains are spectacular and the area totally wild, no roads only buch tracks. The water is a deep peaty black and the reflections wonderful.

Then this afternoon we met the family, my aunt Audrey, counsin Ian and his wife Helen and son Alex. We had a great meal and caught up on old news. It was a great afternoon , very hot .
