Naesh and Lys outside Maggie Beer's Farm Departing Woodside and saying our goodbyes to Linda, James, and Bella, Port Augusta is our next destination. First stop was Maggie Beer's Farm, where we sampled a lot of food and tasted some wines. We had a sausage sizzle for lunch just outside of Maggie Beer, and we were back on the road. Drove through a little town called Waterloo! Which was a bit of a car karaoke situation, thanks to ABBA. Continuing our journey, we drove through Jamestown, which had plenty of cute "sheepies" that reminded us of Harry and Sally. Next we headed to Hornsdale Wind Farm & Power Reserve, which is the home of the world largest battery. As it was getting later we drove through our last small town Melrose, which is the oldest town in the Flinders. Stopped at a free camp 30kms south-east of Port Augusta and enjoyed some pumpkin curry, salmon chutney and some roti for dinner. Toasted some marshmallows on the fire, played a game UNO, and off to bed for a early start tomorrow morning.
