Little Kaiserstuhl

A new style of style
We still walk on Sundays, but it is not often we do a new walk. This week we tried the Little Kaiserstuhl walk near Tanunda

This was a delightful 6.2 km in the Barossa starting at the Grant Burge Winery, with beautiful views and a section of the Heysen trail. The paths are wide and clear, with some paddock walking and some on the road.

It is well sign posted and there is a pdf map available online

Our lunch picnic was on a log next to a ruin of a fireplace, mentioned in the brochure.

A few showers of rain made for lovely panoramas, but getting wet was not that nice. Still it was gentle rain.

Dan says...

it was a great walk that reminded me of Ireland especially when the rain came.
So what happens to sheep in the rain?
They get wet.
