The Beginning

Hello all.

This is the first, and a very boring, entry to a blog that I have just created to follow us on our wonderful holiday to the USA in August.

I havent blogged before so I will do a few entries before we leave so that I am used to it, with a view to updating it most days while we are away.

This will hopefully save us money on postcards and will enable anyone who is interested to follow our holiday and see some and read about some of the things we will all be doing.

Beck went to the USA on a family holiday with the Hays in the late 1980's, I myself travelled to the USA with friends in 1994 (only a few short weeks after meeting Beck). We both have wonderful memories of our holidays and ever since we have known each other we have had this wish that one day, we would bring our own family to America to enjoy together.

Well that time has come. This year in August we are taking Zack, Abbey, Harry and Alex with us to the United States of America for a 25 night holiday experience.

We are travelling to New York, Las Vegas and Anaheim.

While in New York we are making a side trip to Niagara Falls, Washington DC and Philidelphia.

While in Vegas we will take in the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.

While in Anaheim we will be visiting, Las Angeles, Disneyland (both of them), Universal Studios, Medieval Times, Legoland, Knotts Berry Farm and many other tourist locations.

I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures once the holiday commences. In the mean time I will add one or two entries as we prepare for the holiday just so that I get used to blogging and how to add things.
