We slept in just a bit today and headed out from the river again. Daniele once again had me drive, and even though I almost had a mini heart attack I got down the river just fine. The tide was extremely low again, so we headed out towards snubfin point, a popular feeding ground at low tide. Unfortunately it soon started to rain, so we drove around for the rest of the morning, trying to avoid rain and find dolphins. Didn’t work too well. The dolphins we did find only stuck around for a few minutes and the weather just got worse. Around 2 we headed in and Daniele had Amanda drive in. I thought the poor girl was going to have a heart attack when he all of a sudden turned the gps off on her. He is a great teacher, but man I just wanna shove him overboard sometimes ☺
For the rest of the afternoon we worked on data. I went into a mini coma in the afternoon and woke up to dinner much later. We went to bed early again as tomorrow should be THE DAY. The conditions should be perfect, so hopefully the dolphins behave.
