Whitsunday Island Cruise

We went on a two day cruise of on a boat called Avatar which was a trimaran. It was a cool boat and we got our own cabin/sleeping hole in one of the side pods.

The weather was lovely and the views were beautiful. We got to go snorkelling on the part of the Great Barrier Reef which was good but I think we were spoilt in Thailand and here it didn't quite compare!

The food was delicious and it was good fun living on the boat for a few days. We made a few good friends as well.

At night the stars were amazing, Rachel saw a few shooting start although Paul doesn't beleive her!

We went to Whitehaven Beach which is 90% silica which gives it the white appearance. You could exfoliate, brush your teeth, clean your jewellery with it....

While we were at sea we got to see a few stingrays swimming around us and spotted a baby reef shark and turtles in the water!
