An out and about touring day. Went to Paluma Range National Park about 60 Km north of Townsville to Little Crystal Creek then to Balgal Beach near Rollingstone for lunch. Visited a couple of other beaches before coming back to town and visiting one of the botanic gardens. --->

When the road and this bridge were made in 1931 – 1935 it provided work for the unemployed during the Depression. Mostly made by hand. Lovely area with rock pools and waterfalls.

A small part of one of the botanic gardens. Has a great rainforest section, aviary with a very talkative Corella, palm garden, rose garden etc. and even a wedding happening.
