Friday 2nd September,
second day of spring - where has the year gone.
We are moving to Andergrove Caravan Park ($224 per week for a semi permanent site) tomorrow as John starts his new job on Monday - painting of course - for Trevor Mackay. We have booked an ensuite site at the new park for the same price as we are paying here at Bucasia Beachside park which is very average for the price but it is right on the beach which is nice - the new park is closer to town but not too far from and Andergrove beach (unfortunatley not walking distance) but it is a nicer park.
So we thought we would do some touristing today and headed off towards Sarina - we called into Hay Point where there is a huge port for trasporting coal from the mines - it is huge and would employ many people. Then onto Grasstree beach which was just beautiful with a lovely beach, as was Campwin and Sarina beaches - I forgot to take the camera so no photos this time. Had lunch at the Sarina RSL $10 each for a great meal.
I have decided to show some photos of the beach at Bucasia and the huge tides.
