With careful planning and phonecalls we were able to plan a Skydive for Kevin for his birthday. I never quite felt I got the sympathy vote as to how scary jumping out of an aeroplane was and how high up you fly to expereince the ultimate free fall. It was now his turn, he had often said that he would like to do a jump so his wish came true.

It was a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies giving 100% visability over Redland Bay and Kevin said he could see pods of dolphins and whales below in the sea.

We lost sight of the plane as it soared higher and higher and could only spot him as his chute opened and he approached the ground at an alarmimg speed!

A neatly executed landing on the beach brought him back safely on terra ferma along with a big grin of achievement. Well Done Kevin!

We were able to spot Kevin amidst the other jumpers as he wore shorts although the boys claim it was his bald head that shone like a beacon!
