Merry ChristmasMerry ChristmasMerry Christmas

We did actually write 'Merry xmas' on the sand, but it's not too clear. This is something that we've been wanting to do since we got to Australia, so even though the photo's not great, we had to post it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

There is a lot to update you on, but for now, we'll just post the Christmas photos.

It was such a different Christmas for us, but definitely one to remember. NOT a white one, instead, a HOT and HUMID one! haha. We spent most of the day in the 30 degrees Celsius pool.

Christina arrived a few nights ago, and her and Jace (her other half) were with us all Christmas day. It was very nice to have a great friend form back home visiting!!!

We started the day by hanging out in the pool with Heather, Marty, Div and Hayley (Marty's sister), then Christina and Jace arrived and we wend to four mile beach for some Christmassy photos. We did the classic photo of us in bathing suits and Santa hats and merry Christmas written on the sand!!!!

Then Dale, Trine and Kae came over and we spend the reaming of the day in or by the pool and finished the night by a tasty turkey dinner!

It was a great day, but we're going to be pretty anxious for a snowy Christmas next year.

sand and snow; a comparison
Finally get to see your Christmas pictures. Our computer fried and I didn't have your blog address until Dad recovered our hard drive. I'm saving all your pictures. Makes me miss you all the more. Next Christmas ... here?? :) I just finished shoveling our latest 8" of snow this morning. Back steps from the basement...each shovel-full of snow got shoveled about 12 times because the snow bank on each side was too high to throw the snow on top of it, all I could do was shovel it in front of me...and then shovel that pile in front of me again until I got up to the highest step and was able to get it onto the top of the snow bank. We've got about 4 feet of snow in all. WISH YOU WERE HERE!! (Because I miss you so much, of course!) Tons and tons of love, Mom

Glad you are having a good time
It is great to view your blog. Wish I could figure out how to do that. Rick and I just got back from a good trip. Drove across Canada and down the eastern coast then up cenral States. 2 months later we are back home shovelling snow. Take care and have fun! Barb and Rick
