Crocodile Dundee Country - Morning Tea today, beer for the boys, cider for the girls As we drove today along this boring baron country ravaged by drought, the scenery begins to change the closer we get to Clem Walton Park we get, now into red rocky mountains, a welcome change for sure.
On arriving at Clem Walton Park, we found ourselves a camp along a river, a dry river, but none the less a river with magical views of red rock cliffs with the odd wallaby out for an evening hop.
For a brief moment, the weather was warm enough to finally get the shorts on, at last a sign we were leaving the winter behind!
It became apparent today, if you don't own a toyota 4WD drive of some description, or any other type of 4WD RV vehichle, and aren't towing some sort of RV vehicle behind, you just aren't living. I can really see now what the grey nomad migration really looks like, it is amazing.
