Day 54
Today started with me telling Jackie we will be back in 3 hours.. more like 6 hours. LOL. Sean and I sit around town till 4pm, we check out the highlights of town and relax at the look out till the parts store calls. Sweet!! We have parts. Back to camp we go. Jackie doesn’t look to impressed as we roll in. oops. We start pulling the brakes apart, god I hate 4wd’s for this part. The rotor is bolted to the hub with 6 rusted bolts. Luckily A fellow camper came over, Roy, a retired mechanic and gave us a hand by lending us a breaker bar and 14mm socket. With out those 2 vital parts we would not of finished. A life saver he was. LOL. We only do 1 side of the truck, as the other pad has enough life to get us to the next stop. We enjoyed the rest of the star filled night.
