Well, I did it. This morning at 11.30am I was collected from my hostel taken to an air strip, given 5 minutes training, flown to 14 000ft and then thrown out of an aeroplane! I have to say that for some reason I wasn't scared at all and loved every minute of it! It was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to go again. My instructor - Bruce (No I am not making it up he really was called Bruce) was really fun and has done an excellent DVD so you can all see for yourselves when I get back exactly what I went through. There was a 60 second freefall and then it took about 5 or 6 minutes to land on the beach. Amazing, breataking scenery over the reef and great views of Dunk Island. I would recommend it to anyone and have been smiling all day!

Leave Mission Beach tomorrow for Townsville and will then catch a ferry to Magnetic Island for a few days. Not sure how I will top the skydive. Maybe I should consider a Bungee jump? Any other ideas let me know.
