Australia - Mission Beach

We arrived in Mission Beach at 2pm on Friday 22 June and checked into Mission Beach Shack. Our twin room had a TV and DVD player which was a blessing as there's nothing to do in Mission Beach and the weather was bad. We watched Snatch in the afternoon and then walked into town (literally just a few shops) for dinner. We returned to our room to watch Babel and then went to sleep at 11pm. On Saturday morning we walked up and down the beach for a couple of hours and then returned to the hostel for lunch. We then watched a documentary on Muhammad Ali followed by Cinderella Man. After walking into town for dinner, we watched Lucky Number Slevin before going to sleep. On Sunday morning, we walked along the beach for a bit and then watched the Simpsons in the TV room while we waited to catch our 2pm bus to Cairns.
