On Sunday 21st we left Cardwell on what was a very comfortable journey of about 100 kilometers further north. Pootling Possums

Hi and welcome to our blog. We have set out on our second great adventure in Australia, following in the footsteps of those magnificent bloggers The Wallaby Wanderers. Originally we were due to go in March and spend a few weeks with the Wanderers (daughter Sarah and son-in-law Darryl) but those plans were blown apart by the small matter of a triple heart bypass operation that Graham needed. With the railings having been torn off in the recent cyclone this part of the walkway was closed

Cyclone Larry caused a huge amount of damage in March 2006

but it created space for the walkway to be built without damaging the forest further

Hearty meal!!
Glad to see Graham is concerned about his cholesterol level! Looks an impressive breakfast though. We are off on Route 66 in a few days so no doubt will sample similar breakfasts on the road. Take care.
