Off to Horn Island today. Bit of a sloppy sail with the seas a bit confused, but not too bad. Once again, a lovely protected anchorage in strong winds. Went over to Thursday Island by Ferry on Tuesday, had an explore, got some mail that we’d arranged to have sent there, did some shopping (got a Soda Stream, YAY) and caught up with a guy Phil used to work with. Then had a few days on boat, sorting, relaxing and washing. (Had a bit to do as it had been accumulating over the last week or so!) Finally on Thursday the winds died down a bit and it has become very pleasant. On Friday, the water was so flat, the winds very light, so we decided to go over to Thursday Island in our Zodi rather than catching the Ferry. Had a bit of a tourist look this time, went up to the lookout. Amazing views of the surrounding islands. Back on Horn, we had pizza (take away) for dinner and even got TV reception for Phil to watch the Footy (NRL)
