Soputhport sharks under 13A sunny day on the Gold Coast! We were meant to watch our grandson Elijah play in his AFL game this morning but unfortunately Elijah had a virus and was unable to play. But we went to Burleigh Heads and watched the Southport sharks smash the Burleigh Bombers! (Under 13's) After 60 points to zero they stopped counting the score (mercy rule apparently) It was great to watch and a shame we missed Elijah playing. But we will have to come back another time in the year.
We did some shopping for bathers (going to Waterworld tomorrow) and later Shannon and I went to visit Marlene's grave with some lovely yellow flowers. 😞
We rang Finn to see how he was doing after his nasty fall yesterday..
Tonight Ian Roy came round for dinner and we played an awesome game of May I. If you didnt know its a card game, and old family tradition. It was an absolute hoot! Laughed our heads off. Great to see Ian and catch up on old times..
Well thats the day.... Off to brave Waterworld tommorow!
