Nightly entertainment... Day 15
Today started of good, we relaxed for a bit, and then off to meet the Swiss girls to get our truck. We walked into surfers and met up with them, when we got there they told us that there was a bit of a problem, the first thing that crossed my mind was oh crap, what now. Lol. They took the car into the shop to make sure that we would be able to get it safetyied with no issues, but it turned out that it needed 600 dollars in repairs before that was possible! They felt so bad about telling us that it was in good condition and ready to go that they paid the bill! So then we took the truck to the shop to check it in, and headed to the registries to switch over the registration to Matt. Everything went smoothly and the 3 of us were able to get our 18 plus cards which was a huge relieve for me, I was getting nervous carrying around 3 passports in my purse. So after that it was off to walk back to surfers to drop the girls off, and we for sure have
to remember not to follow matt, he took us in the wrong direction and we ended up taking a nice little walk around a park before we finally made it to the bridge to cross the river in the direction we needed to go. By this time it was slowly starting to get late, I was suppose to meet Kristin at the house around 5 so that we could get our stuff together and head out to Byron Bay for a girls night out. She came and picked us up in Surfers and then we were on our way. Matt and Sean stayed at the house with Joel and watched footy while Kristin and I went to Byron, we had a nice dinner at a pub, and then decided to hit up some of the bars. It was a nice evening, lots of time to catch up, and have some good talks. We went to 4 or 5 different places and then slept in the car, which was an adventure all in itself since I have never slept in a car before!!
Day 16.5
This is to keep the blogs photo filled and people happy. lol. this is
Jackies trip to byron included: Today was an excellent day, Kristin and I woke up, went and had some brekky… eggs Benedict, yummy, we walked around Byron for a bit and looked at all the neat shops they have there, and then off to the light house we went. We got really lucky and found a parking spot where we didn’t have to pay, although we had to do a bit of walking which was okay with me! There was some amazing views from up there, and we got to be the most easterly people in Australia, we didn’t see any whales or anything but we did take lots of pictures and enjoyed our time spent together. After the light house we went and bought a couple of magazines and headed to the beach, and man was it packed! We layed on the beach and went for a swim, I didn’t put enough sunscreen on though because I got a bit burnt from laying there and reading, but the bonus is that I am starting to get an awesome tan, just have to work on the tan lines. Lol. After that we headed home, Kristin had some studying to do
which was okay, I ended up having a nap once we were back. We got here, and Matt and Sean had taken a walk to check out the Berliegh National park which they both thought was amazing..... To Be Continued....
