Currumbin

After finally getting hold of Sue and Andy we made our way to their hotel in Currumbin. In the evening they treated us to a bbq on the roof and we relaxed in clean and comfortable accommodation!

The next day we headed to the beach for a surf and bathe. The bay was very picturesque. Later on we went shopping and bought some donoughts and scoffed 4 mini ones each oops!!

In the evening, all the food was ready and we made our way to the bbq area upstairs and it wasn't long before the storm we had been watching in the distance brought rain. So after waiting and realising it was not going to pass we rushed back down to cook in the oven. We watched the film 'Stardust' whilst eating a very nice but late dinner hehe.

The rain continued until midday the next day so good job we did not wait on the roof for it to pass. We travelled to Rainbow Bay and again enjoyed the surf. In the evening we went for a meal in the Surf Club where we enjoyed food right on the beach. When we got back we watched the film 'Wild Hogs' and packed out cases :-(
