Camper van action!

Collected a camper van for 20 days from Cairns central, and headed north approx 150km to Cape Tribulation, the tropics of the east coast. It was like driving through something from Jurassic Park! To cross the Daintree River, the only road to the Cape requires a short car ferry, over croc infested waters! We then entered croc land proper. When we arrived at our campsite, we parked up, and walked the 30 seconds to the beach, only to be met by an enormous croc in the water. Debs ran off into the bush, whilst Spen the brave approached to get a better look.

Ended the evening having a campsite bbq and swapping camping tales with experienced campers. We were told we WILL grow to love it.....only time will tell!
