People were jumping off the edge into the waterhole.
Today we went on a tour with our son, Michael to Killarney Glen. We drove out to the Gold Coast hinterland along beautiful winding roads that took us through the National Park and up into the hills. We then hiked down into Killarney Glen which is a series of waterholes along a rocky creek. It was so beautiful down there. Unfortunately it is now a tourist spot and there were lots of people down there. However, we walked along the edge of the creek and found a quieter spot to sit and take in the beauty of the place. We then went for a swim in the waterhole, it was freezing cold. Steve also saw a large eel.

After spending a lovely time, swimming and exploring, we hiked back to the car and drove to a little cafe for a late lunch.

Then.....back to the caravan park for a quiet cuppa and to rest our weary legs. We had a beautiful day today and the weather was perfect.
