sept 8 seems i've survived my near death experience, i.e. existential crisis
sept 9 tropical rain. no birdwalk. did spruik in carpark undercover. pizza. library and that warm wet feeling, movement almost like swimming. australia pacifica. footy finals - september show of cats and the rest. geelong dispatched the saints like meatpackers filling an order. the spectacle, the drama. obama. what a show. fannie and freddie've gone bust. oops. foreign holders burnt. beijing not happy. why waste money on them (meaning us) anymore. they (the chinese) won't be loyal like the japanese who after all were conquered and assimilated. a new germany arises, america now england, europe like france. russia still russia. pull out of afghanistan western christendom. why squander squillions to crap on muslims? what's the point? canadian elections questioning ninety eight dead. how many 'militants' and 'extremists' (are they people too?). civilian toll barely counted. of course our last resort will be to truely stand for justice and democracy. fair australia the new america. we've become the focus of the future by geography and history. rudd failing in foreign policy. greenhouse rumblings echo round the planet. give peace a chance. disarmament quintesstial for habital planet earth. later at pier pub a swarm of bats (flying foxes) set out in the twilight for night feed. lorikeets chatter settling in the fig trees. tarmac drying. evening stillness. flicker of gas torches.
