July 16. Mellow night in very dark street. Four Mile Beach park picked up trash. It's my country. Windscreen crack went 3cm upward - major move. Reversing bloke rammed Carly in carpark. Driver's door and mirror. Must go to Mosman for estimate. Glorious day. Three species of flutterby, the third metallic blue tops in flight, brown when settled. Troublemakers shout If you don't love it leave. I spoke Japanese and young girl got photo holding SC&B. Perfect. Getting data kiwi flag debate. Saw Maori flag. My brother said my blogs were short which I took as a criticism and compliment. Quality? Then a family photo with flag going back to Noosa. An inspirational inscription:'Water me and I will grow. Let's share the planet.' And a new public drinking fountain, pressure too low for a drink. Then a call from delivery, handwavers will be in Port Douglas 24/48hrs! Intense excitement!!! So it feels like the more trash I pick up the better it gets, a Tibetan turning a prayer wheel.
July 17. This morning's essay. Purposive behavior: We are built with purposive behavior, the purpose of life being life. Since we are going to die and our children and their children, earth and indeed the Big Bang Universe, we must fail. This is the driving force of religion and philosophy. That is why I have become a Gaian, goddess of life. So that after many years of rationality I can enjoy the comfort of belief. The down side of belief however is that others have different ones and this can lead to conflict. Gaianism, like a new born babe, has no enemies yet. We embrace all the gods for surely they are manifestations of life. Our sacred ceremony is picking up trash and planting trees. Good, good. Straw-necked ibis, not as bright as book, juvenile? Attempted writing derailed by parade of pastels and pretty girls Mosman Gorge National Park. Showtime! To a rock in a soft place river's roar around me, Mountain Blue mid the green. Then back to Port. Handwavers arrived. On street two were taken within twenty minutes!!!
July 18. Waving 'Y' tail blackbird, red eye, 'sweet, sweet, sweet.' Port Douglas train toot. Mountain blue, white, yellow and roufous butterflies. Have sold six handwavers in two days!!!
