Our appartment in Brisbane, middle floor one is ours.
Brisbane life is great. We're well settled into our 2 bedroom appartment.
It's very close to the city, 7 minutes on a train and the station is within
stumbling distance of the appartment.

Andy & Anto have been living with us for almost 6 weeks now, and everyone
is getting on well. We're all working. My contract is due to finish on Friday
the 29th but the others are about half-way into 2 month contracts.

For those of you who don't know the lads, I suggest you visit their websites
to find out more about them.....

Anto Moyles, DCU soccer team-mate of mine, did same college course as Andy:

They call themselves GOAT & Oyster in case you are wondering after looking
at their websites.........don't ask why! Some pictures of our appartment
etc are on Anto's site.

They were working in Melbourne, and we went down in March to visit them
and also we went to the Australian Grand Prix! It was a brilliant weekend,
and the GP was really cool.........not to mention loud!

The little car we bought is going

She's a beauty.....note the sacred Xbox under the TV.....!!
well, it's super handy even though public
transport is excellent.
We've been amusing ourselves by drinking Aussie beer, going to the outdoor
cinema, and watching Neighbours..........Home & Away is a big no-no over
here.

The 4 of us are going on this trip tomorrow:
Frasier Island Tour

Now, down to the nitty gritty.
WORK:
My contract is up next week but I hope to get an extension for another month or 2.
So, it's all a bit up in the air at the moment.

SOCCER:
The big news is that myself and Anto have signed for a club called Taringa
Rovers
. The club has a semi pro team in the top Brisbane league (Premier),
and a semi pro team in the second league (Reserve). We are playing in the
3rd league (Metro 1), and are gonna give it the full gun to get amongst
the
ranks of the paid footballers.
We had to wait for international clearance to come through from the FAI.........NOT
A JOKE!!! Anyway, it was all sorted after 2 weeks and we made our debuts
on Sunday.
The team have lost their first 4 games so we'll be doing our best to turn
things around. Keep
