The previous two entries may have been published the wrong way round, but this is the last Australian blog.

We arrived in Brisbane on Friday, and stayed in the centre, near Roma St station. On Saturday we took a train from Brisbane along the Gold Coast to Robina, and from there took a bus to Surfers Paradise. A lot of high rise buildings, very busy, but it's the surf that everyone is here for and the surf looked great.

On Sunday we took advantage of a really good service that Brisbane tourist office offers, and that is "greeters" who are volunteers that take you on a guided tour of the city. It was very useful and interesting, a good ferry service to get around Brisbane which is built on a river. They have a city "beach", which I'd describe as a sandy lido - seemed very popular with the locals.

was a midnight arrival in Sydney, but it was enjoyable seeing the east coast region. (but not for 15 hours though)...

On Tuesday, at 15.45 we left Sydney, with a stop over at Hong Kong, with a 3 hour delay due storms over China, and arriving back in UK Wednesday morning.

Well, we both really enjoyed Australia, and I think we will be here again.....
