We woke up to a much sunnier morning, it got to 32°c!

We drove in to Brisbane, to a part called South bank. We walked along the riverside, past many restaurants and cafés. There is an artificial beach there called Streets beach. We had lunch at a lovely Mexican restaurant.

After that we drove to Mount Coot-tha, where we had an amazing view over the whole of Brisbane.

We went on a 5km hike through the mountain. It was lovely, with lots of trees and wildlife. We went on an aboriginal art trail and saw some of their paintings and carvings.

Kayley saw a snake and freaked out!

It was very hot, and steep, but well worth the walk.

We went back to the campsite to catch up on some washing and have an early night as tomorrow is Australia zoo!
