Hot and sunny early morning when Paul played golf but became overcast later. Stayed hot and sticky though. Spent a few hours looking around the town and surrounding areas. --->

Queens Beach

One of several local beaches which are pushed as being spectacular but to us are a bit ordinary.

Mullers Lagoon

A little part of the 24 hectares of park and water near the middle of town. A great show of colourful bougainvilleas across the water. Lots of water birds.

Salt Works

Viewed from Reservoir Hill. Salt is produced from sea water and probably supplies our swimming pool salt at home.

Harbour

Viewed from Flagstaff Hill.

Frangipani.

One of the 60 different varieties and colours all together at Mullers Lagoon. It has enormous flowers.
