This week our travels have taken us to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. We're staying in a nice apartment for the week and it's conveniently across the road from a nice white sandy beach!

On Monday, we took a free shuttle bus to the Australia Zoo - one of the Sunshine Coast's more famous attractions. It's the zoo that was founded by Steve Irwin's father and now run by his wife. It's not a huge zoo, but is experiencing rapid growth (74 employees in 2000 and over 375 now!). Most of the animals were reptiles (lizards, snakes and of course, crocodiles!), but it was nice zoo and very interactive.

Anyway, here are the pictures from the zoo. Enjoy!
