a sleepy little town called agnes

oh my god, how badly did i sleep?! had to keep moving because the girl next to me kept going to the toilet. she finally got off the bus at 6.30am by which point i'd totally given up on sleep and was reading cosmo.

finally got to agnes water at about 10.00am. our hostel was fantastic!!! wooden floor boards, french windows and everything!! aaaah, and a resident dog called gus who followed me around, totally fell in love with him 😊

the randomness continues, blue haired steve and turquoies haired lucy from the boat were there!!

agnes water is a teeny tiny little place - it has a handful of shops and a pretty beach but other than that there really is nothing to do there! checked out the beach and spent a few hours sleeping/sunbathing but it was quite windy and ended up totally covered in sand!! not a good look 😊

when i got back i realised that i actually had no clean clothes left and washing was necessary 😊 so yeah, quite a chilled out day really! looked into doing a night dive but the guy said that the tides meant the night dives were at 1.00am. hm, not a plan!!!!! aw well, bit disappointed but i'll get over it!

the next day me and sharn went on a 4WD tour of Agnes Water and The Town of 1770 which was good fun, especially considering it was free! 1770 is actually a lot prettier than Agnes, but we weren't to know, and considering it was only a stop off point, i wasn't overly fussed!

spent the rest of the day reading my book in a hammock!! tis a hard life *sigh* 😊 after all my lazing around i went for a walk on the beach at sunset which was gorgeous, really nice and relaxing!!! had the beach more or less to myself which was fab, gives you a bit of time on your own just to take everything in and think. loving this travelling/finding myself lark!!!!
