Katherine Gorge

We left Darwin on Tuesday and went straight to Litchfield National Park were we enjoyed an afternoon in a clear pool at the bottom of two waterfalls. Yesterday we drove to Katherine Gorge where we organized a tour of the gorge for today. Spent the morning on the river. Both parks were amazing spots of green and blue in an otherwise water starved landscape. They must be amazing places though during the wet, when the water in Katherine Gorge can be 7 metres deeper than what we saw.
