Robyn went to the Pokolbin craft market in the morning then we went on a drive through the local towns.

Saw an interesting Aboriginal art exhibition in Wollombi where the curator told me of an oral history story regarding locals canoeing out to nearby islands. Geologists say the islands are now a local chain of hills that emerged from the sea 18,000 years ago. A remarkable example of the longevity of spoken history.

Had a fine lunch at Margens Restaurant in Broke. Our new Hunter Wine Selector's membership included a wine voucher and we enjoyed an excellent (but slow) two-course lunch plus olive and fig canapés.

Richard and Kerrie arrived in the afternoon and we enjoyed some wine and cheese on the deck together.
