right. so. about that month long gap... sorry. was having far too much selfish fun on my vacation.

i didn't bring my laptop. i was rarely indoors. i had to pay $8/hr for internet. (want more excuses?) i can't just bang out a paragraph and not proofread it 34 times. and i had no desire to spend any time online when i could be jumping off another cliff or fighting a losing battle against sand flies. so blogging didn't fit into my new zealand experience, quite clearly.

i'm back in sydney now. it's raining. the boys (kade and jb- who has finally bothered to be in town whilst i'm visiting...) are both at work. so i'm stuck inside and can finally update y'all, as i have helped myself to the computer in jb's room.

i have every intention of relaying the majority of the interesting details now. use your imagination and pretend it's coming in real time.
