Wow, this place is amazing.
Manly is a small town off the shore of the northern beaches which has recently become huge for young travelers to visit frenquently. It's only a 20 minute ferry ride from Sydney and the beach is absolutely beautiful. You can find beautiful scenery, weather and...women, all over the place. The restaurants are in large variety and the shops are sweet as peaches, (sweet term eh?).
We left around 11am and took the bus out towards this town we've heard so much about. We realized early on the rumours were correct. I had such a blast of serenity hit me i decided to do something i'd been thinking about doing for awhile. So, we hit up the manly piercing shop and I took full advantage of our freedom as young adults with parents thousands of miles away. I got my left ear pierced, wicked.
Afterwards we walked along the boardwalk towards the most packed beach i've ever seen on a weekday. I would say half the people there were travelers from across the globe and Chris and I fit in just perfectly. We lay on the beach and tanned to our hearts content until we decided it
Evan in Manly
Eating some italian for lunchwas just about time to take a dip in the ocean. The water was clearer than we've ever seen it. After a few hours of soaking in the sun and ocean we decided it was time to head home for some oh-so-good dinner. We rocked out to some tunes on Chris' ipod the entire bus ride back; i think some passengers were nervous about the intense motions our heads made when the beat got strong.
Dinner'll be ready in twenty, gotta go freshen up. Life is sweet, take risks and blow bubbles.
