Well after being up for almost 24 hours we arrived in Sydney, what a nice clean city compared to Bangkok. Thanks to the shopping of me and the VISA , we are staying again in a nice hotel. And even better, just explored a bit and found a Starbucks right across from the hotel !!!! Jippie, no more Thai brew !!!!
To-morrow will be the house on wheels for 2.5 weeks and after that we will come back here again.

Hereby some pics from the last couple of days, enjoy. Thanks everybody for writing us, Meindert and Sabien loved getting the messages.

Love Mir

Laundry ?Laundry ?
Laundry ?

I don't think Thai people have a dryer, this is how they dry their laundry. Doesn't matter where they live, always laundry hanging outside the door. This was the view when we took a boat trip on Chao-Pra-Yha river in Bangkok

This is how a lot of people travel in Bangkok, instead of the car, they take the boat and/or bus/skytrain.

As far as we have seen, almost all the kids at school wear uniforms, Kirsten was happy we don;t have that at Cheam, so she doesn't have to wear a skirt !!! Although she had too when entering the Gran Palace

Very Inspiring
Hi Guys – it’s been great to follow your family adventure. I certainly hope we will be able to do something similar in the future. Have a great time in OZ (I think I arrive in Sydney a few days after you leave) it is certainly the best place to live in the world… after Canada of course! Love Rupert, Lu, Lottie & Max.

great pictures! Thailand looked great but I'm sure you're ready for a little more luxury eh Miriam? Kids...there was a big road hockey game going on yesterday but not the same without the Dutchies! Continue to enjoy your time away, as reality is only a month away. Everything is going well here, Lex's team should hopefully make it to the provincials if their playoffs go o.k. Baby Brett turned 18 yesterday! How did that happen? Lauren has been busy doing all of her volunteer work, so we are all keeping busy. Have a wonderful time in Australia. See you soon. Lucille
