Newcastle

Newcastle is the second largest city in New South Wales which means it is pretty small. There's not much there and it seems to house most of Australia's chav population who cruise up and down the small sea front. Anyway, we went there mostly for the Sand Dunes just to the north where we went and rode quad bikes. After a brief initial ride we were ranked by ability in order to determine the riding order and the different groups. Sara was bottom of the class and I became top of the class due to everyone on my right inadvertently getting back on the Quad Bike to the left of the one they had got off leaving just the one at the top of the dune. Fortunatley this made my trip more fun as I got to ride faster up and down steeper dunes and Sara seemed happy wth her more sedate group.
