A day out on the Palm Beach Ferry

Our nephew was down visiting us this weekend and we took him over to Palm Beach, on the ferry. It was a beautiful day. When we were leaving we heard lots of sirens, a fire had broken out on the Barrenjoey Headland. I was able to take photos, of the fire, from the ferry. There were helicopters bombing the flames, and people took refuge in the lighthouse. Luckily, all were safe.

what an exciting day out that turned out to be. it looks like a volcano. And what lovely sunshine you are having - as we head down to winter. Mind you, still warm enough for veg to be growing.
