Hello everyone. Yes I'm back home, and have had my fix on all the things I was dreaming of months ago. I really haven't had much time to relax, which is weird. I guess it's that saying "Coming back to earth". Coming back home... how does it feel? About 30 degrees heat haha. Nah, it's good to see parakeets, rosellas, and parrots sitting in the trees in my backyard, or going into a shop on a Sunday. Or how about a bed. I did shave off the "Flavour Saver" under my nose(but I re-newed my drivers license with an awesome photo) 😉 haha. Australia is expensive. No doubt about that. If I see a hotdog stand selling hotdogs for $8 (6,50 EUR) then I know I'll need a job fast. I did not miss the disgraceful service of communications in Australia. I needed my mobile phone to work and it took Vod4fone bloody 4 days to fix it. You can't win though, changing to another phone company will end in the same result. The service is crap everywhere. I also had to unpack which I dreaded as I looked at the massive boxes I sent home 6 months
ago. Writing this, it's finally done. I met my giggling new nephew who does not stop smiling. My dog didn't try and eat me this time. It took me 5 days through an employment agency to find a job. It's only a temporary job doing "pick-pack" work to help me survive up until Christmas, then I'll start looking for a proper job in the new year. I already did all my Christmas shopping while travelling so going to the mall and seeing all the people rush is funny. I don't have a car yet, theoretically I do, but it doesn't work and is a lost cause. I actually am not even thinking of buying another car, I want to buy a roadbike again. I've seen the bike I want(Suzuki GSXR 750), all I need now is money. So for me, I just need to save. I also did fly in a wind tunnel in Singapore and Skydiving is looking very interesting as a new hobby. I already put my skateboard together and went for a skate, and found my guitar and jammed with my friend who's a drummer. For the Bavarians who can understand this - you will all be
happy to know that I have found a goldmine. Yes. Wheat beer(Weissbier). Dark and light(dunkel und Hefe). AND! Christmas time - I also found Lebkuchen at ALDI. I thought that would be a lost cause, but for some reason it's here, and I'm loving it! It won't be too long until I find more things from Bavaria that I might miss. Leberkaese Semmel is one of them. Other than that, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Whether you are in the sun or the snow. After 6 months, I'm still soaking up the sun. Jase 😊
DEUTSCH:
Hallo!
