The Blue Mountains was definitely a highlight from Australia for a number of reasons, not least because it was the first time I could actually do some exploring on my own...

With the rest of the family having gone to stay with David in Lawson, I was able to take some time to stay at the rented house in Katoomba and see the local area in peace and at my own pace.

The house was perfectly-placed just a short walk from Echo Point, the stunning, never gets tiring look-out point over the Blue Mountians,
