Hi all, will be trying to keep the text down a bit this entry compared to the last one, got a bit type happy last time!

Thursday 6th March I flew from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and Singapore to Australia on the big Aerobus plane to arrive in Australia on Friday 7th March, 7am local time. The big Aerobus (I think that's what it's called) was huge. The wealthy people were in the queue to get allocated their own suite! When I got on board I noticed everything was brand new, seats seemed wider and we seemed to have more leg room, films available on own personal screen on demand this time, i.e. whenever I wanted them, instead of waiting for them to start. Computer applications on board, really handy. They had ice-cream for dessert, must have had enough room for freezers on board. Sadly I was once again stuck sitting next to a couple of weirdos, again from Brisbane. This time I had to sit in-between them. She was pregnant and had to have an aisle seat, he wanted to sit near the window, so I had to go in the middle. I realised

they knew each other straight away and offered to sit near the window but he wouldn't budge, it seemed like they had had an argument. The first thing she said (in a loud voice) was 'Andrew the problem with Singapore is too many Singaporeans', obviously so the rest of the cabin (mostly local people from Singapore) could hear, nice. After talking across me on and off for a few hours they finally fell asleep. I plugged my ear phones in and enjoyed selecting my films and blocking out the surroundings!

Friday 7th March I arrived at Sydney airport and Janet and Tom kindly picked me up. Jan and Tom did a small shop, we headed back to their home in the village of Kurrajong in the Blue Mountains (which took about 1 1/2 hours) and then had a dip in the pool, which was very refreshing. Lovely dinner of lasagne (had been craving pasta for a while), glass or two of riesling wine and feet up!

Saturday 8th March, Janet was dropped off at Springwood town so she could attend her monthly market, she makes some really lovely pottery. Tom and I then headed off for a morning

in the Blue Mountains. We stopped off at the lovely town of Leura, went on the worlds steepest railway, had a lovely walk down the bottom, although it was still misty, then we stopped off for Tea and scones at Katoomba (the scones were like damper bread - delish). Quick stopoff for some Australian wine for the bbq, there's loads of choice. Watch out for Aussie wine in 2009 folks, as Tom said they've had a pretty cold summer with a fair amount of rain, so the grapes should be good, making next year's wine particularly good. Then we headed back to Springwood to pick Janet up and Janet and Tom's son Craig was there with his two sons Luke (10) and Jamie (3). We all headed back to the house to meet Janet and Tom's daughter Julie, her husband Mark and their two daughters Holly (8) and Lucy (14 months). Let the aussie bbq begin! It was really lovely catching up with the family and seeing Luke and Holly again and nice to meet Jamie and Lucy for the first time. As you can see Newton got a bit carried away at the bbq!
