Lakes Entrance
4th attempt at uploading, losing patience with travelblog. The driving has begun. WWe drove to Lakes Entrance Thursday, beautiful but windy spot extreme south of Victoria. The sun came out though and Kyra got to play in sand dunes and we saw our first Kangaroos on the shore of a little island. We also watched a dolphin surface several times. The pelicans are huge and the seagulls are tiny...but they has cool pale eyes and bright red feet. We made the drive to Batemans on Friday stopping in Narooma for lunch with same seagulls...."mine. mine. mine. mine" they loved us...the feeling wasn't entirely mutual. Today (saturday) we went to Birdland Nature Conservatory and Kyra got to pet a Koala, hold a Boa Constrictor (prompting all the s to give it a go so as not to be one upped by a 9 year old ) and feed and hug kangasroos and wallabys. We just stopped into the info place to check e-mail, and I'm about to run out of time... We will drive to Sydney on Monday, or perhaps make one more stop on the coast and hit Sydney Tuesday...we'll let you know... The photo's thing may have to wait a while...Oh by the way...it's WWWAAAAYYYY cheaper to buy
