Greg's mom sent us with Banana chocolate chip walnut muffins. They weren't taken away at Quarantine at the airport, so we shared them and enjoyed them on the bus trip from Sydney to Goulburn...yum!
Well, we've been settled for a couple of days in Goulburn, just north of Canberra. We're being hosted by a typical Aussie batchelor, who has made us very welcome in his home. The weather here is WAY colder than we expected, with high winds and no heat in any of the buildings we are in during the days (a sheep kennel/exhibition grounds, I think). So, we're wearing most of what we've packed in as many layers that we can wear without being too cramped.
Our flight into Sydney was long, but better than we both expected - we each watched a few movies, and i managed to sleep more than Greg since I had the window, and something to lean against. We arrived in Sydney around 8 am, to a gorgeous sunrise and fantastic views of the coastline and downtown. I cried as we came in - we are so blessed to be able to do this trip together...
Goulburn is hosting an International Youth Forum during our days in their diocese, and our days are full with praise, talks, mass, worshops, community building and more praise. Looking forward to WYDs too. We have a few more days here in Goulburn,

Greg and I on the bus - the plane was more comfortable...
but not much opportunity to get on the internet, so may not be able to blog much in the next 10 days. Love to you all (and not missing work at all 😉.

Glad to see you made it
Just home from Manitoba and was glad to see you made it. Looking forward to hearing all about it. We're hoping to maybe get Shilo and Dani out for a swim. We'll touch base with Leslie about that. Have a wonderfully spiritual time this next while. Can't wait to see what the next few weeks brings for you in the land of OZ. Take, Lisa and Dwayne

Sorry for the delay in response...didn't realize we had to accept comments! As I'm sure you've found out, Shilo is with Greg's parents...so we'll have to take a rain check on the swim until we get back! GnD
