Visited the “temporary” Aboriginal Embassy just outside the Old Parliament Building, then went to the National Art Gallery, I think one of the best designed galleries I’ve ever been in. There was a photographic exhibition on, plus an interesting exhibition on Indian- Middle East weaving and sculpture. But the best part for me was the outdoor sculpture garden, particularly the fog maker and the haunting heads in the reeds. More Ethiopian food tonight. Though we initially weren’t sure we’d like the “planned” environment of Canberra, the place has really grown on us,
