T-minus 17 days and Counting

I will be thrust into the heat with no relief in 17 days. Time to think ahead. One bottle of water every 2-3 hours while I'm awake. Sweat, lots of sweat. Hat, sunscreen, and so on.

Working on publishing my first book, Talking to My Ghost in the Dark, a book of poetry.

This blog will be about the challenges of the language barrier, and being a stranger in a different country.

Heading to Oaxaca and beyond on December 4th. Scheduled to be back on February 6th.
