Day 24 - Made it into Washington (Silver Lake)

Today we traveled into the state of Washington to a small town called Silver Lake. The camp site we are in is just off the lake so Joe is planning to some fishing the couple of days we are here. We went to the Mount St Helen visitors center after we set up camp and we might go up to the observation point tomorrow. It all depends on if the weather cooperates and we don't have so much rain. Yes, can you imagine, it's still cold and raining... We all have decided this would not be a place we would want to live unless we had a job we dearly loved and it paid us a huge salary.. HA!!! We had dinner at a locate place on the river called Patty's Place at 19 mile house. They had great hamburgers and wonderful cobbler.
