Ouch!
The reason we had to leave a week late.Okay, so we were originally going to head out last Monday but we had ourselves a little incident and reason to pause. Teresa sprained her ankle in a freak post lunch accident at Irving's local Furr's Cafeteria. Despite the bump in the road (or hole in the sidewalk) we are back on track and ready to roll. On the bright side of things, we've had a week to lounge around Nancy's (my grandmother) house and enjoy the gazillion inch HDTV with more movie channels than you could ever hope for. Nothing like a little R&R to help us prep for the long journey ahead. We arrive in Tokyo Tuesday the 28th and will be in Japan until that Friday when we take off on a ferry to Beijing.
We'll try to drop a line or 2 sometime in the next week to update everyone. Until then....
