Today we decided to brave the mean streets of downtown Dallas, actually it wasn't that mean, it was nice, clean and suprisingly quiet. Then again, only us, the homeless and the Mexicans ever walk anywhere here!

We saw the place where President Kennedy was shot, the photo shows the 6th floor window of the building from where he was allegedly gunned down. A webcam is permanently positioned in the window.

We had a wander through downtown, admiring the buildings and found our way to the Dallas World Aquarium, an excellent building which recreates many areas of jungle and aquatic life, including a tank which you can walk through with sharks swimming around you.

Later we took the authentic old trolley bus to a nice district with shops and restaurants and ate at a Texan Steak House, yeehaw!
