Day 27 - Plano, New Year's Eve

Today we went to the local Mexican supermarket where we were surprised to see everything written in Spanish and English! Bought lots of food for New Year's Day.

We were pleased to receive a few merry phone calls from England as they saw in the New Year. Later we went out to a bar called Austin Avenue and managed to get some drinks in just before midnight. We almost didn't get in as we didn't have any ID on us, but after a chat to the manager he kindly allowed us in.

We returned to the house and cracked open the Mexican tequila which, if I remember rightly, David, Anthony, and Steven particularly enjoyed! :-)
