Weather - 80 degrees

This morning, off again for an early start. Today we will meet our traveling companions - Jack & Barbara Waldrop. We have been killing some time in Louisiana while their motorhome was at Camping World awaiting jack repair. Camping World had the motorhome for, like three weeks. They ordered the wrong part, but Jack & Barbara left to meet us anyway. We met them in Lake Charles, La at a Flying J truckstop. While waiting for them, Aleta cooked red beans with sausage and rice for their arrival. All ate and then headed toward San Antonio, Tx.

Hit some very bad weather on this leg of the trip. A lot of wind and very heavy rain. Pulled into BayTown, TX at another Flying J for the night.

Played marbles on the Morgan Board which was made for us by a friend, Ed. Teams = Shelby & Barbara vs Aleta & Jack. Each team won one game. Then went to Denny's for a supper of Cheeseburgers and Fries.
